When planning what the homepage of Atelier’s Website would be, I knew I needed to keep it minimalistic, simple, and stylish to reflect the common conventions of style magazine websites, for example those of Vogue and Vanity Fair. Therefore, the header of my homepage will be a simple white bar, with Atelier’s masthead in the centre, a link to other pages on the left corner, and options for users to sign in or subscribe to the right of the masthead.
Below the header I will have a bar with links to different pages of the website that are based on the content categories in the print magazine. These pages are:

FASHION
BEAUTY AND WELLNESS
FEATURED
JEWELLERY
ATELIER SHOP
The page that I will create a linked page for is Fashion.
Style magazine websites tend to be photography focused with minimal copy, therefore my homepage will feature a video related to the recent issue of atelier at the top of the page, and other photos that relate to articles on the website. The video that will be featured for the month of the January 2026 edition will be an interview with a designer that will be an article of the runway section of Atelier.
The background of the website will be white, as this is a simplistic, minimalist design choice which is similar to other style websites. The typography on the website will mainly be black, however will feature another accent colour for a pop of colour and make the website unique to atelier.
